Karen Glastonbury trained at St Thomas and Kings College Hospital in London qualifying as an RGN /RSCN in the 1980’s.
For the last 35 years she has worked in a variety of hospitals with Children and Young people as a Staff Nurse, Ward Sister and Clinical Lead Children’s Community Nurse, gaining valuable nursing and management experience and providing support to families and colleagues.
During this time Karen has worked alongside the Julia’s House team providing shared care.
Karen stepped down from her role as Clinical Lead in September 2019 but would like to continue to offer her experience and support and is delighted to be a Nurse Advisor and Trustee for Julia’s House.
