Siblings
Having a brother or a sister with a life-limiting condition means siblings have to witness and deal with a lot of things that other children, thankfully, never have to face. It is easy for them to get worried or frightened and to feel overlooked or isolated.
Siblings are grouped by age and can choose from a huge array of activities. The focus is solely on them and making sure they have fun, forge friendships and forget about the worries of home.
Two week-long residential trips - these events are great at helping children find the courage to feel comfortable talking about their situation.
A dedicated sibling group - helps brothers and sisters build resilience and confidence in a fun, friendly environment.
Extended family
No-one is overlooked in the family circle, we even offer support for grandparents, aunts, uncles, even family friends - anyone who is regularly involved in the care and support of a Julia’s House child.
