Our reach:
As well as our care work we are a voice for change to improve funding for families with life-limited children. Julia’s House has led on two national research projects - looking at how respite can prevent relationship breakdown and its role in mental wellbeing, using these results to lobby parliament in partnership with Together For Short Lives.
Our award-winning care is a model for new and developing hospices across the globe who are looking to emulate our outstanding service. Julia’s House mentors two children’s palliative care charities in the USA: Ladybug House in Seattle and Asher’s Smile in Florida.
We have also given advice on construction & design to Crescent Cove children’s hospice in Minnesota, and on service to Iris House in South Africa (founded by one of our former staff).
