We're so proud to have been named one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for.
Placed 12th, we've achieved our highest ranking for nine years and we're also the highest rated children’s hospice in the top 100 with a 2 Star accreditation of Outstanding.
The list is compiled by Best Companies, an independent organisation that conducts anonymous surveys of all staff in participating organisations. Results are published annually in the Sunday Times.

The information provided by staff helps us build a picture of how effective they believe their leadership is, how they are managed, their team work, wellbeing and remuneration. We’re then able to assess what is working well, what could work better and make appropriate changes.”
Julia’s House continually strives to introduce initiatives that will improve staff experience and wellbeing. Employees have access to a mental health helpline (to acknowledge the intensity of caring for extremely ill children and their families) and long service awards for staff and volunteers take place regularly. In the survey 97% of staff said they were proud to work for the organisation, while 100% stated that they would recommend volunteering for Julia’s House.
