We provide a lifeline of care for families of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, offering each family respite and clinical care however and wherever they need it most – in their home, at the charity’s hospice in Devizes or out in the community.

This free-of-charge care that children, parents and siblings depend on is almost entirely funded thanks to the generosity of local supporters. Julia’s House receives less than 5% government funding in Wiltshire and we need to raise £1.5m each year to fund our essential hospice and community-based care service across the county.

Following on from the launch of our Together We Care Appeal in Wiltshire, we're now inviting local businesses to support the appeal and sign up to our new Business Club 200. By joining the club, they will be playing a part in helping to support the most seriously ill children in their local community.

Businesses can join the Business Club 200 at bronze, silver or gold membership level, with a variety of benefits beyond corporate social responsibility (CSR), including fundraising team-building activities and networking opportunities, plus invitations to special events.

Alice Chalmers, Julia’s House Business Development and Corporate Fundraiser, said, “We’re really excited to be launching our new Business Club 200. Members will have the opportunity to make valuable connections – both within their own teams through motivating experiences, and with other like-minded local businesses and play an important role in supporting their local community.

“They’ll be making a real difference to the growing number of seriously ill children and families cared for by Julia’s House. Each hour of clinical, emotional and practical care that our nurses and carers provide helps local families to feel less isolated and exhausted, and relieves the ongoing pressure of providing round the clock care for a child with complex needs – the kind of pressure that can lead a family to breaking point. But we can only keep caring for these local families with the ongoing support of local people and businesses.”
