We receive just 8% ongoing funding from the government, meaning without the kindness of our supporters, we simply couldn’t provide the vital care and support that seriously ill children and their families need.

Ways to support Julia's House

Make a significant donation

A gift of £2,500 or more can have a significant impact on the children and families supported by Julia’s House.

We’d be delighted to tell you more about our work and explore funding opportunities that align with your values and philanthropic goals.

Major gifts are typically made by bank transfer, which is the most cost-effective way for us to receive your donation. Please contact Rawle for our bank details and support with arranging your gift.

Gift Aid and higher-rate tax relief

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid can increase your donation by 25p for every £1 you give, making your gift go further at no extra cost to you.

If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can also claim additional tax relief through your Self Assessment, based on the difference between the basic and higher rate of tax.

For example, if you donate £2,500 to Julia’s House:

We can claim Gift Aid of £625, increasing the total value of your gift to £3,125.
If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim back £625 through your tax return (20% of £3,125)

Donate shares

Donating qualifying shares directly to Julia’s House can be a tax-efficient way to make a meaningful gift. We benefit by receiving the full value of the shares. Plus, you’ll benefit too – you won’t have to pay capital gains tax on the shares you donate, and you can claim income tax relief.

If you’re looking to donate a large gift of shares to Julia’s House (£1,000+), please contact Rawle. For smaller gifts of less than £1,000, visit the ShareGift website and please mention Julia’s House Children’s Hospice when making your gift.

Contribute through a Donor Advised Fund

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a flexible way to manage charitable giving. If you have a DAF or charitable giving account, you can recommend a grant to Julia’s House as an unrestricted grant or to a specific aspect of our care services that are important to you. Please contact Lisa if you need our charity details or would like to discuss the impact your grant could have.

Grants can support care services, help meet essential running costs, or fund a specific area of care. We foster open, collaborative relationships built on shared priorities, clear outcomes, and meaningful reporting.
