‘A Twist in the Tale’ depicts a modern red-headed mermaid sunning herself and enjoying chips on the beach while surrounded by seagulls.
It's Pop Art style includes bright, bold colours; the tail is covered with the mermaid’s red locks which also resembles the sea, while the sky has a seagull pattern using yellow and blue.

Primarily a graphic designer, Jill has designed and painted several sculptures for Wild in Art charity trails since 2020. Her art style is colourful and bold, inspired by Pop Art. Jill is very happy to be able to combine all her creative skills and get messy every day - she runs an art club and workshops for junior school children, inspiring them to use their imaginations and experiment with materials.
