Sarah Hutchinson-Jarman
Sarah is an Oxfordshire-based author and illustrator and an advocate for “creativity for all”, believing that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their creative side.
Sarah likes to create bright, colourful, fun pieces that are usually inspired by nature and that appeal to children. She regularly runs creative workshops in schools, hospitals and community settings, teaching crafts, illustrations and using sensory play based on her books for young children.
Sarah delightfully incorporates puffins into her mermaid tail design, highlighting the drastic decline of Dorset’s Purbeck Puffins.
Having spent several years living in Wiltshire I have seen first hand the amazing work that Julia's House does in Wiltshire and Dorset. Last Summer I took part in Oxford's Oxtrail for Sobell House Hospice. I initally applied to challenge myself artistically however, coming together with others to help those in their time of need was even more inspiring. I know how vital it is to keep Julia’s House going for very poorly children and their families so really wanted to be part of another trail to help once again.
