Saffron
Saffron is a Bournemouth-based artist with a varied illustrative style, mainly working with watercolour, ink, acrylic, and digital design.
She designed a lion for the ‘Pride in Bournemouth’ art trail for Julia's House in 2011 and is excited to add her own splash of creativity to The Great Tail Trail and see the return of beautiful painted sculptures to locations across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
‘Equinox’ is a half black, half white Art Nouveau, ying and yang design with butterfly symmetry and organic seaside features. It represents the balance, complexities and beauty of nature.
It’s such an exciting opportunity not only to support a great cause but also showcase local artists and bring a little splash of creativity and wonder to the streets of Bournemouth.
