Kizzi Bennett
Kizzi is a muralist, painter, designer and conservationist who grew up on the south coast.
Kizzi takes inspiration from the forest, sea and country-sides and has a mission to use 100% recycled paints and eco-friendly materials in all her work. Her passion is to teach mindfulness through her art and help clients create a better environment to engage with businesses in a memorable way.
Kizzi uses crashing waves and fun, bright colours inspired by her local beach life to illustrate her mermaid tail. Her design aims to bring happiness to all who view it.
I first started painting murals to raise awareness for our environment and the challenges it faces. But more recently, I have learned that as humans, we need nature as much as it needs us, which is why this opportunity to paint a mermaid tail for the 'Great Tail Trail' is so meaningful to me. The ocean has always been my favourite place, a source of inspiration and serenity. Being part of this exciting community art adventure, in aid of Julia’s House children’s hospice, is an honour, and I hope my sculpture can inspire others to appreciate and protect the beauty of our natural world.
