Caroline Parrott
Caroline began working in her chosen medium of anodised aluminium in 2007.
She hand prints the metal then dyes using industrial anodising dyes and powder paints to vibrant effect. Coastal travel has a big impact on Caroline’s colour choices, encouraging her to play with the light, shade, greens and blues.
'Orion' features hand dyed, cut and finished anodised aluminium feathers, adorned like a wing.
I've created artwork for Julia's House before and I live very close to their hospice so hear regularly about the great work that they do. I was really excited to be part of a Wild in Art Trail so close to home so all my friends and family could come and see it.
