Bridie is an illustrator, public artist and educator with an interest in producing work that combines detailed, well-researched historical narrative with playful and vibrant, yet accurate imagery. She has produced large scale murals for museums and schools and is excited by the way her illustrations can interact with communities and document a common experience.

Bridie’s design features references to Poole’s rich maritime history, including the iron age boat, trade with Newfoundland, smuggling, Poole Pottery, oysters and more.

I’m excited to be a part of the Great Tail Trail - it’s brilliant when stories can be told through art within a public context like this. The work Julia’s House do for children and families is inspiring and I hope to add to this with my playful and nostalgic design.
