Steve was appointed as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Julia’s House in 2025, having joined the Board in April 2023 as Treasurer Trustee.
Steve started his career with Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He then moved to Boots, where he worked in senior finance roles in a variety of sectors (property, retail, healthcare and IT) both in the UK and Australia.
Steve subsequently moved into the charity / housing association sectors, where he has been finance director of 3 organisations, MHA (the largest charity care provider for older people in the UK), BCHA (Bournemouth Churches Housing Association), and Magna Housing (providing affordable homes in Dorset and Somerset).
Steve enjoys using his commercial and charity experience to contribute to the amazing work that Julia’s House does.
