Previously a co-optee on the Clinical Governance Committee, Sally was appointed a Nurse Trustee in September 2022.

Sally brings a wealth of experience to Julia’s House: she is an experienced  Registered Nurse  trained at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Throughout her career, Sally has worked in clinical and leadership roles at a senior level across the public, charitable and private sectors.  Sally was with Marie Curie for 11 years supporting healthcare and nursing teams across the south west region and has a Masters in Training and Performance Management.   Based in Ferndown, Sally is currently Regional Operations Clinical Partner for Signature Senior Lifestyle Ltd, overseeing a portfolio of nursing and care homes.  She first heard of Julia’s House from her work with Marie Curie and from a colleague who knew of us from his role on the Board with the Children’s Charity, together for short lives.

Sally will work closely with Claire Hudson-Cooper and the Care team providing support across professional development, clinical governance, quality assurance and policy, an increasing priority for the Care team as the clinical complexity of the children we care for increases.

“When I first became involved with Julia’s House, I wasn’t entirely sure how I would be able to support the charity, but knew I had so much knowledge and experience that I wanted to share. It has been a privilege to be involved as co-optee and I look forward to bringing value supporting the  Trustee Team.”
