Thank you 288 Group, who over the past few weeks have raised £340 from donations for their summer party and The Dorset Mud Run. A 6km trail with 15 awkward obstacles and a lot of mud - well done and thank you!

Thank you to Beard Construction Limited for an incredible Golf day in support of Julia’s House. The atmosphere on the day was superb, huge thanks to everyone involved in the smooth running of the day (led by Matthew McCrory MCIOB), everyone who attended, donated prizes, and supported the fundraising. We are so grateful for the support, we couldn't achieve what we do at Julia's House, if it wasn't for support from brilliant companies like Beard!

Huge thanks to Christine Razey and Rachael Youd for the invitation to host a drop-in session at a brilliant new co-working space at Nexus Business Centre in Swindon. Thanks also to Francine Kane for being a great office buddy, and to Tim Major for kicking things off with another great Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce networking event. It was great to have so many valuable conversations, finishing with a catch-up with Gabriel Schmidt of Riverwise Financial Planning, who joined the Julia’s House Children’s Hospices Business Club earlier this year. Support like this is vital in keeping Julia’s House services running!

A huge thank you to the Pewsey Carnival Committee for choosing Julia’s House as one of their three charities to support in 2025, along with their generous donation of £2,000. We’re also delighted that they have chosen to support Julia’s House again in 2026! Thank you to everyone involved with the Pewsey Carnival, and especially to Carol and the team who visited the Wiltshire hospice on a very hot day to present us with their cheque.
