We have 20 places available for the event on Sunday 13 March, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2022.

“The route through the heart of this World Heritage city is so beautiful, it’s easy to see why this is such a popular event,” said Julia’s House fundraiser Claudia Hickin. “We’re delighted to be a Bath Half charity partner for the first time and we’ll be among the tens of thousands of spectators cheering our runners along on the day.”

Claudia added, “Everyone who signs up for the Bath Half with Julia’s House will have the added motivation that their miles will help bring smiles to the most seriously ill children in their community."

"We rely on the generosity of local people to fund our free respite care," she said. "So every donation helps to keep our lifeline of care going for families who need us.”

The Bath Half was previously postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and around 90 per cent of general entries for next year’s event have already sold, with runners eager to secure their place.

When signing up for a Bath Half charity place with Julia’s House children’s hospice, you will be asked to pay a £30 registration fee and commit to raising £200 for the charity, which could pay for a much needed two-hour respite care session to give an isolated and exhausted family a break.
