We'd like to say a huge thank you to Jan Dibble, Janet (Olly) Dragonetti and the team, at Court Sarum & Pembroke No 3260, of the AOF Foresters Friendly Society, for holding a Bingo Night in Wilton Community Centre, where £400 was raised in aid of Julia’s House.

The cheque was presented to nurse Laura, by Emma and Noah, one of the families supported by Julia’s House.  Olly got to know Emma and Noah when she accompanied him on his journeys to Exeter House School.  Unfortunately, when Noah was so poorly he wasn’t able to go,  Olly felt she wanted to do something to help. She shared his story with members and friends of the Court and Noah touched everyone’s heart, they all wanted to help. This isn’t the first time the Court has supported Julia’s House:  Last year, from a sponsored walk £2020 was raised.  The Court hopes to do something again next year.

Noah’s Dad and brother, Chris and Sam, very kindly supported the Court at a quiz night in October, in aid of the Ukraine Appeal.

“When the Court heard about Noah from Olly, and just how poorly he had been, members and Friends wanted to do something to help; it’s our second year of helping now,” says Janet Dibble.  “Emma, Chris and everyone at the charity have been wonderful, and we all feel part of Julia’s House now.  The Court is not sure what fundraising events will be arranged for next year but will have Julia’s House in its heart.”
