Walking the catwalk at last year's Julia's House Glitter Gala
We're marking this year’s Sustainable September with a late-night shopping Glitter Gala at our Creekmoor superstore on Wednesday 30th September – the second year we've held this exclusive late-night shopping event.

Sustainable September is a national initiative encouraging people to shop second-hand, donate pre-loved items and avoid fast fashion, helping to reduce carbon footprints and landfill waste while supporting charitable causes.

Designer catwalk show
Held from 6-9pm at Julia’s House Creekmoor superstore, the evening features a high-end fashion catwalk showcasing designer clothing that has been generously donated including brands such as Ralph Lauren, Prada and Ted Baker.   All the clothes featured on the catwalk will be available to buy plus lots more pre-loved designer fashion which has been specially curated for this exclusive evening.  A beautiful collection of fine gold and silver jewellery will also be featured in store.  The whole glittering evening will show customers how they don’t have to compromise on design and style to shop sustainably and help reduce landfill waste.

“We’re so excited to be holding our second Glitter Gala at Creekmoor,” shared Dave Hutchings, Creekmoor shop and warehouse manager. “We had over 100 shoppers at the Gala last year, many of whom were new customers to Creekmoor.  So many said how surprised and thrilled they were at just how easy it is to maintain a designer wardrobe and still shop sustainably.

“We’ve already had some amazing high-quality designer donations but would always love more.  And you can then come along to the Glitter Gala to refresh your look and your wardrobe, knowing you’re not only shopping sustainably but you’re also helping to support the vital care Julia’s House provides for local seriously ill children and their families.  It’s going to be a truly memorable evening.”
