Julia’s House is your local children’s hospice, providing specialist care to children with life-limiting and complex conditions, and vital support to their families. We help create magical moments and precious memories — because every child and every family deserves them.
Our incredible nurses and carers deliver expert clinical care alongside fun, laughter and compassion. We also give parents a much-needed break from round-the-clock care, offering peace of mind that their child is safe, supported and cherished.
Volunteer Van Driver – Salisbury Shop
We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help drive our Julia’s House shop van — a role that keeps our charity moving and makes a real difference behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collecting and delivering donations and internal post
- Driving from our Salisbury shop to other Julia’s House locations, including our Creekmoor Warehouse in Poole, our Swindon charity shop, and our shop and hospice in Devizes
When we need you:
- Ideally Mondays or Thursdays, 9am–12pm
- We’re flexible, so let’s talk about what works for you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, dependable and happy to work independently
- Physically fit (some heavy lifting may be involved)
- A confident driver with a full valid UK driving licence
- Over 25 years old, with at least 3 years’ driving experience
