Volunteer Maintenance/Carpenter Assistant
Do you love DIY and decorating with an interest in retail, then this could be the perfect volunteer role for you. Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospice charity, is seeking volunteers to help out at its friendly shop in Creekmoor, Dorset. Our charity shops rely on volunteers throughout the week in various roles.
We are currently looking for a volunteer to support our store with DIY/carpentry/decorating tasks, helping our Manager create and build shop fits at Creekmoor. This is a very hands on role, with lots of varied tasks, putting your excellent DIY skills to great use.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in DIY/carpentry/decorating tasks
- Friendly and approachable
- Good communication skills
- Polite and welcoming
- Ability to work in a team
