Take part in the Big Teddy Takeover with Julia’s House this Children’s Hospice Week!
How does it work?
It’s simple! Bring your favourite cuddly toy or mascot and a donation of £1 into work to raise money for your local children’s hospice charity, Julia’s House.
You can choose to do this during Children’s Hospice Week (16th – 20th June 2025), or pick another day to suit you! Does your team work from home? If so, why not encourage everyone to bring their cuddly toy or mascot to a team call, or wear PJs for a day? You can set up a JustGiving page for staff to make their donations.
Boost your FUN-draising
You could make your Big Teddy Takeover BEAR-y special with some extra fundraising activities, such as a teddy themed picnic, cake sale or organise a competition – having your mascots with you might give you a winning chance! Or why not go extra cuddly and wear slippers or pyjamas?
Meet Isabella
Six-year-old Isabella was born with chronic lung disease and needs extra oxygen to help her breathe. She has to carry an oxygen cylinder with her wherever she goes, including on the swing when she’s playing with our nurses and carers. One of Isabella’s favourite teddies is her Fuggler, which you can spot in this photo!
