Children are being given the opportunity to see their Christmas wish come true, thanks to a magical fundraising competition hosted by Devizes-based company, ZELF.

Good boys and girls are being invited to post their Christmas wish at a secret Santa’s Post Box, which is hidden in the enchanting Devizes Christmas Trees display at the Zelf transport and storage headquarters on Hopton Road.

One lucky person who enters the competition from now until Sunday 17 December will receive a special phone call from Father Christmas and win their Christmas wish early.

Entry costs £3 per person and all money raised will support Julia’s House and our lifeline of care for the most seriously ill children and their families.

Zelf’s Managing Director and ‘Head Elf’, Kevin Harris, said, “We’re proud to be supporting Julia’s House again this Christmas. As well as our Christmas Wish competition, we’ll be donating £3 to Julia’s House for every real Christmas tree that is sold."

He added, “We’ll also be donating one of our trees to the hospice to bring joy to all the families that their nurses and carers support.”

Jo Common, Julia’s House Corporate Fundraiser, said, “We’re thrilled that Zelf are hosting this incredible competition and fundraising through their Christmas tree sales again this year to support Julia’s House. As a charity, we only receive around eight per cent government funding, so we rely almost entirely on the support of local businesses and individuals to provide our life-changing care in the community and at our hospice.”
