Christmas isn’t just for the kids! A wonderful evening of wreath-making and festive fun was recently enjoyed by lots of the mums that we support at Julia’s House.
The event was organised at our Devizes hospice by Julia’s House mum, Janeta, who is super creative and wanted to help create a social event just for parents.
Janeta (centre above) even gathered the beautiful foliage and flowers for the wreaths from out-of-date stock at her local Waitrose shop!
The evening was hugely popular, with 15 mums attending in total and members of the Julia's House care team taking part too.
Some of the parents had never met before, so it was a lovely way to meet new people who understand the challenges of caring for a seriously ill child.
There was lots of chat and laughter throughout the evening and tasty treats and mulled wine to enjoy as well.
Plus, everyone went home with a fabulous festive wreath to hang on their door!
