Mon – Sat (9am – 1pm and 1pm -5pm) and Sunday (9am – 1pm and 1pm -4pm)

Julia’s House is your local children’s hospice, looking after the most seriously ill children in Wiltshire and Dorset, who need 24 hour care for their complex and often rare medical conditions. Volunteers play a vital role in enabling us to be able to care for the child and be there for the family.

Our Creekmoor Warehouse is looking for volunteers to help look after our changing rooms, and to help and chat to customers as needed.

A variety of shifts available throughout the week: Mon – Sat (9am – 1pm and 1pm -5pm) and Sunday (9am – 1pm and 1pm -4pm)

Duties:

  • Looking after the changing rooms
  • Keep changing rooms clean and tidy
  • Help customers as needed
  • Returning unwanted clothes that have been tried on back to the shop floor
  • Chatting to customers and making them feel welcome

Skills and Experience:

  • Friendly and approachable
  • Good communication skills
  • Polite and welcoming
  • Ability to work in a team

You don’t have to have experience to be a volunteer at Julia’s House as we provide all the training you will require. You just need to be friendly, reliable on a weekly basis and have the confidence to talk to our customers and make them feel welcome. It’s a great feeling to be supporting your local community and will make all the difference to the children and families we care for locally.
