Our Creekmoor charity shop is holding an exclusive prom shopping event on Thursday 30th March, 6pm-9pm, showcasing around 200 donated and nearly new prom dresses for sale in the store. Prom goers, including this year’s graduating school leavers, can spend time browsing and trying on the dresses as well as hundreds of shoes and accessories so that they can find the right look for them - and be the belle of the ball!
At a time when living costs are drastically rising, it’s great for the local community to rely on good, quality second hand items for a sustainable and affordable way to shop. Buying preloved goods, such as clothing in a Julia’s House charity shop, is an ethical alternative to fast fashion and a throwaway culture, helping to reduce waste and pollution within a circular economy. Well made products, such a prom dresses, can remain in use for decades.
Booking is essential and free, just click through and choose the Prom event to reserve your space - remember to enter the number of children you are bringing.
