Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our Nursing Team as a Senior Team Nurse and provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life threatening conditions at our Hospice’s and in the Community.

Qualification requirements. Applicants for this role must have RSCN/RN/RNLD (Child Branch) – diploma or degree and be an experienced paediatric nurse with Mentorship course, ENB 998 or equivalent. 

Julia’s House supports more than 140 families across Dorset & Wiltshire, in the community, at our hospices and in families’ own homes.

The successful candidates will have excellent clinical care skills, gained through working with children with life limiting/life threatening and/or complex medical needs. You will play a lead role in planning, implementing and delivering all areas of care training. Supporting the clinical development and training of our nursing and care staff to maintain best practice will be a responsibility you share with the Senior Team Nurses in Clinical Development.

Flexibility will be required to cover seven days a week including some evenings, weekends and occasional overnights, in order to meet the training and support needs of our staff.  There are no set hours for contracted staff. Rotas are prepared at least 6 weeks in advance.

This role is a 35 hours per week permanent contract. Ideally you will work a flexible 35 hours per week, however part-time may be considered, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.  A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential. Some cross county travel will be expected.
