Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. We provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Housekeeper who can join our team of Hospice Support Staff in Corfe Mullen.  With a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work on their own initiative, the successful candidate will help ensure the Hospice is always clean and welcoming for the children, families, visitors and staff.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of working in a healthcare environment and who is familiar with infection control procedures.  Generally the hours will be worked over five days with a start time of 7.30am, however there will be a requirement for work to be completed on some evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

If you have a calm and helpful manner; are adaptable and able to work with sensitivity and have a genuine passion to see Julia’s House succeed, then this could be the role for you.

If you are interested then please visit our website, or call us on 07850 928145, or email recruitment@juliashouse.org

If you have the experience but are not sure what working in a Children’s Hospice is like, then please do call us to find out more.

Please complete the attached Application Form and Equality & Diversity Survey

Completed Application Forms should be returned via email recruitment@juliashouse.org or posted to HR Department, Julia’s House, Ground Floor, Allenview House, Hanham Road, Wimborne BH21 1AG

The Job Description and Person Specification are also attached below.

The above post will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check
