The Julia’s House charity shop in Weymouth is on the move - but just a few doors up to 38 St Mary Street.
The relocated shop opens this Friday (28th) at 10am with a ribbon cutting ceremony to be performed by two children supported by the Dorset and Wiltshire children’s hospice charity.
The move, prompted by an expiring lease on the old shop, has given staff and volunteers a chance to create a more upmarket and boutique shopping experience, offering a wider range of ladies and men’s clothing, a bigger children’s section, as well as accessories, books and toys.
Julia’s House Retail Manager Tracy Stanley said: “Our shop refits have been proved really successful with extremely positive feedback from our customers, so we’re very excited to be opening another updated store in Weymouth.”
Julia’s House is always in need of donations to help keep their shops stocked and is also looking for extra volunteers for the new Weymouth shop – if you can spare a little time to help please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01202 644220.
