Ten boys from Julia’s House children’s hospice had a great time at the AFCB Junior Cherries Day on Tuesday.
The boys, aged 7 to 17 watched a training match and cheered on the players before meeting them and getting the chance to chat to manager and Julia's House Patron Eddie Howe. They came away with lots of autographs. Peter Barry, AFCB Player Liaison Officer, took the group on a tour of the stadium, giving them the VIP treatment, answering lots of questions and showing the boys the changing and press rooms.
Nurse Jen Gooding said: "We all had an amazing time and we want to say a big thank you to Eddie, Peter and everyone at AFC Bournemouth."
Thank you to our volunteer photographer Jon Bolton for these lovely photos from a visit by some of our Julia's House children to AFC Bournemouth.
