For the first time since before the pandemic, the popular event at St John’s Church in Devizes will take place on Thursday 2 December, from 7pm. Tickets are now available to book on our website or from the Julia’s House shops in Devizes and Chippenham.

Along with a festive camel parade and the opportunity to join in with traditional carols by candlelight, the event will feature readings from Julia’s House families and supporters. Guests will also be treated to choir performances from St Joseph’s Primary School and White Horse Opera. Plus there will be plentiful mince pies and mulled wine to enjoy.

Kindly sponsored by Awdry Bailey & Douglas Solicitors, the warming evening raises money to support our care for the most seriously ill children across Wiltshire. Donations are essential, as we rely on the generosity of the community to help us provide essential respite breaks and support for local families.

Julia’s House Fundraiser, Claudia Hickin, said, “We’re delighted to be able to host our Carols by Candlelight event at St John’s Church again this year. People who have attended previously will know that we are honoured to have Bactrian Camels visit us in their wonderfully festive bridles and blankets. It is a magical evening, which helps to raise money to support local families who depend on our care this Christmas and throughout the year.”

Book your tickets for the Julia’s House Carols by Candlelight on our website or pop in to a Julia’s House shop in Devizes or Chippenham.
