She usually spends her days looking after children at our Wiltshire Hospice, but at the end of this month Julia's House carer Harriet Baulu is swapping sensory toys for the saddle as she completes a 500km bike ride from Vietnam to Cambodia over 8 days.
The challenge is part of '30 things' she set herself to do to celebrate her 30th birthday. These inlcude things like catching up with old friends, going to see a show in the West End and some more challenging activities such as a skydive for Julia's House, which she completed earlier this year.
Harriet has already smashed her original target of £1,000 and is now aiming to raise £2,000 for this particular challenge. Should you wish to sponsor her, you can visit her JustGiving page here.
We'll be updating you with her progress throughout her journey, along with her trusted companion, the Julia's House bear. But for now we wish her the best of luck!
