We are encouraging local businesses to use their entrepreneurial skills to transform £50 into as much money as possible for Julia's House.
The £50 Challenge is ours new and exciting fundraising activity, inspiring local businesses to use their teamwork, skills and creative flair to make a real difference in their local community.
Three Sided Cube, Unicorn Training and Astute were the first three businesses to sign up. We will provide businesses with the initial £50 investment to kick-start their fundraising project and then it’s up to them to come up with innovative ways to generate more funds.
Linda Schofield-Green, Corporate and Events Manager at Julia’s House said: “The £50 Challenge is a fun way to join with other businesses to support our wonderful children and their families. We can’t wait to see what ideas the teams come up with.”
The challenge was officially launched at our Dorset hospice in Corfe Mullen, where businesses received their £50 note and had the chance to meet other companies who are taking part.
The competition will run until 30th May, with businesses able to join at any time. A minimum of £50 has to be raised within the agreed time or the initial £50 returned to the charity.
An award ceremony will take place in mid-June to celebrate what the businesses have achieved with a selection of prizes up for grabs including most money raised as well as the most innovative idea.
