Local company a'Beckett's Vineyard are marking the 10th year of their community apple pressing project by supporting Julia’s House.
Paul Langham, owner of the vineyard, explained: “We've been helping loads of folks over the years turn their apples into juice to last them over the next 12 months. We can turn their picked apples into juice and it has a shelf life of 18 months and means they can drink healthy juice every day, give the bottles as presents and even design their own labels.”
A’Beckett’s charge £1.70 per bottle for the apple pressing and have decided to donate 10% of all proceeds from the scheme during 2017 to Julia’s House.
