Julia's House Friends Groups

Julia’s House Friends’ Groups help us to reach much further into the community than otherwise would be possible.

The groups can be as formal or informal as the members want them to be and all are extremely sociable. The events held by the friends’ groups make a big difference to our income and the members act as our ambassadors in their communities.

If you would like to help Julia’s House care for children with life-limiting illnesses, then why not become a friend or start a group in your local area?

We currently have Friends Groups in Blandford, Bridport, Christchurch, Dorchester, Ferndown, Poole, Purbeck, Weymouth & Portland.

A Friends’ Group is about….

  • Raising money to provide care and support to life-threatened children and their families.

  • Socialising and having fun! Young, old or somewhere in-between, it’s great to be involved and make new friends.

  • Adding to your experience, which may be helpful for your CV.

  • Being an ambassador for Julia’s House. Helping us to be seen and heard right across Dorset and Wiltshire.

  • Representing Julia’s House at events, receiving donations and collection boxes.
