It is an exciting time as our hospice in Wiltshire is about to open and we are now looking for an outstanding individual to join our team. This is a role that would suit not only an individual with a background in fundraising but also someone who has developed the relevant skills in another sector which they now want to apply in a more fulfilling role.
We are looking for an exceptional and creative communicator who can inspire, engage and build rapport with people at all levels including our celebrity Patrons and our Ambassadors. With the ability to persuade high net worth individuals, and those of a significant profile, to support Julia’s House, the ideal candidate will also be able to write tailored funding proposals and co-ordinate a programme of high-level fundraising events to generate income and raise awareness of the charity’s work.
With a highly organised and pro-active work ethic you will be confident in working on your own initiative and remotely, whilst also being a key member of the fundraising team working closely with colleagues across the organisation. We have ambitious plans to ensure that no one in need of our care and support has to be turned away, and this post will be integral to achieving this goal.
This is a permanent position that will be based at the Hospice in Devizes. A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are essential as this role will require travel throughout Wiltshire and also travel to attend regular meetings with the Poole-based Philanthropy team.
If you’re interested in joining a leading organisation with a strong brand and positive, inspiring working culture then we would love to hear from you.
