This is a part-time temporary position for maternity cover, based at our fundraising office in Poole.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed Marketing & Communications Officer to temporarily join our Communications Team.
If you have proven experience in Marketing and have excellent copywriting skills - we want to hear from you.

You will be highly organised and have strong multi-tasking skills to provide support to the growing communications team and the wider fundraising team across Dorset and Wiltshire. You will use your creative skills to develop and implement innovative ideas for extensive, annual communications plans, PR and marketing campaigns and to showcase our important service to potential supporters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to communicate Julia’s House key messages across all media and digital marketing channels, protecting the brand and developing awareness in the local community. You will be supporting a friendly team that’s responsible for the website, social media, newsletters, engaging media content and creative campaigns within the charity - telling our story, while being sensitive to the needs of the families with seriously ill children we support.
Hours to be worked daily Monday to Friday and will include occasional travel to Wiltshire, evening and weekend work, so flexibility over working hours is key. A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes is essential.
We offer 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
