This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Dorset and/or Wiltshire community canvassing door to door and/or at specific sales locations, recruiting new lottery members to the Julia’s House lottery. The regular revenue from our lottery plays a vital role in ensuring the Charity can continue to provide the very best care for life-limited children and their families in Dorset and Wiltshire.
The right candidate would be working for an established company within the charitable lottery business and is the largest specialist provider to this sector in the UK. They offer an excellent package, including basic salary, holiday pay plus uncapped commission for employed staff.
You will be representing Julia’s House, so you must be a great communicator and have sound people skills and importantly, you must be hardworking, motivated and dedicated.
This role is valued and rewarding and involves no hard sell tactics. Supporters understand the beneficial impact our role has on the local community – it is a very marketable soft sell.
This role would suit ex venue and door to door sales professionals from utilities and other sales backgrounds, experienced fundraisers and face to face marketeers. On-going training, the tools to be the best you can and continual personal development are at the heart of our culture.
The use of a car is largely essential due to the nature of this role as you will be required to drive to work within an operating location. Those with good public transport links may be considered.
