This role will be based in our Head Office in Poole but with frequent travel to Wiltshire.

We provide life-changing respite care for life-limited and life threatened children at our Dorset & Wiltshire hospices and in the children’s own homes across Dorset and Wiltshire.
We seek a Communications Manager, a ‘player manager’ for a small team managing PR output, media enquiries, web / social media and other marketing methods. You will have experience in not-for-profit or commercial marketing, or PR. You will be skilled in strategic planning and co-ordinating campaigns across a wide range of communication platforms. Flexible and pragmatic, you will have a hands-on approach and a keen understanding of the promotional needs of effective fundraising. Empathy with the Julia’s House families and volunteers is essential.
A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are also essential. We offer 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
