Your handcrafted ornamental butterfly has been lovingly crafted by Unbearable Design Ltd to help raise funds for Julia's House Children’s Hospice. Each butterfly and stem stand at 43cm tall with a wingspan of 18cm and length of 15cm, is made of stainless steel and powder–coated in blue.
You may wish to display your special butterfly in your home or garden. We hope your butterfly will bring you comfort as you celebrate and remember the life of your loved one. The butterflies will not be personalised or engraved. As each butterfly is handmade, each butterfly may differ with shape, size and colour.
Please note, in order to prevent colour fade, we recommend that you keep your butterfly indoors or in a shady spot outdoors and treat with yacht varnish.
Yes! You can order as many butterflies as you wish in celebration of those you love. All donations received for the butterflies will help our teams to continue caring for the children and their families living with a life-limiting illness. You can order up to three butterflies on our website or via our leaflet form. If you wish to order more than three butterflies, please speak to our head office on 01202 644220 or email info@juliashouse.org.
Purchasing more than three butterflies will require additional postal costs to be paid if you wish for them to be posted out to you.
You will have the option to collect your butterfly from either our Creekmoor or Salisbury Julia’s House shops from 29th May to 11th June 2023, 7 days a week from 10am-4pm. To collect your butterfly you will need to bring proof of purchase via email confirmation or letter.
You can have your butterflies posted to you at a cost of £4.50 for up to three butterflies. Purchasing more than three butterflies will require additional postal costs to be paid if you wish for them to be posted out to you.

This year, our Forever Butterflies garden displays will be held at the beautiful sites of Athelhampton House & Gardens in Dorset and Bowood House & Gardens in Wiltshire.

- Bowood House & Gardens display
The Forever Butterflies will be on display at Bowood House & Garden on Wednesday 5th - Saturday 8th April 2023.
One adult free entry per household/postcode will be available for the garden display at Bowood.
Multi butterflies purchased against the same household/postcode will not generate multi venue free entries.
Additional attendees for the garden display will be subject to venue entry booking fees, but these will be offered at discounted rate at the point of entry in Admissions. Any additional guests must be accompanied by the person who has bought the butterfly to qualify for the discount.
An online booking code will be provided once a butterfly/butterflies have been purchased- you will need to go to the Bowood House & Gardens website to book your attendance for the garden display.
Proof of free ticket and any further ticket purchases will need to be shown at the venue to gain entry.
All entry into Bowood House & Gardens is subject to the venue terms and conditions which can be viewed on their website.

The Forever Butterflies will be on display at Athelhampton House & Garden on 12th-15th April 2023.
One adult entry plus one guest per household/postcode will be available for the garden display at Athelhampton.

A Julia’s House Forever Butterfly is a beautiful way for someone loved and lost to leave a lasting tribute of care in the community.
Every Forever Butterfly bought in someone’s memory will make a real difference to seriously ill children in Dorset and Wiltshire - providing a lifeline of support for the whole family. Our care is only possible with the wonderful support of the community who we rely on for 92% of our funds.
£35 could fund one hour of 1-2-1 time with a sibling worker for a brother or sister to relax and have fun and talk with someone who understands how they’re feeling.
£70 could help fund a memory box containing precious keepsakes such as a hand or foot cast that can bring comfort to a grieving family.
£105 could help fund two tailored counselling sessions for a bereaved family helping a child, sibling or parent through difficult times.
We won’t be able to claim Gift Aid against your Forever Butterfly purchase however, any additional donations made we will be able to claim Gift Aid.
