The Great Wiltshire Walk is back – and its bigger and better than ever!

Great Wiltshire Walk

Immerse yourself in the very best of this beautiful rural county as you travel across Neolithic landscapes, take in panoramic views and walk amongst Avebury’s World Heritage Stone Circle.

There's a 26 or 13 mile route to choose from. Make a day of it and join us afterwards for a complementary glass of fizz and a hog roast at the The Kings Arms, All Cannings.

Every step you’ll take will support our Together We Care Appeal, helping us to raise the essential funds we need to care for the most seriously ill children in Wiltshire and their families.

Together We Care Appeal

Your entry includes:

  • Fundraising support, ideas and tips
  • Support walkers and a fully sign-posted route
  • First aid and medical support
  • Refreshment stops with water and snacks
  • Free hog roast at the finish line
  • Glass of prosecco to celebrate
  • A medal for all finishers
  • Julia’s House t-shirt

Registration fees and fundraising

13 miles
Registration fee: £15

26 miles
Registration fee: £20

We would love our trekkers to try and raise a minimum of £200 – enough to provide a whole day of care for a child like Betty, to give her family a much-needed break.

Remember: Your registration fee helps to cover towards the costs of organising the event - it’s the money you raise that makes the difference to our families.

Every mile can make a difference for a local family

Harry and Reuben having a cuddle in the garden

Big brother Harry Byrne challenged his friends and family to join him in a race around the moon – and they completed it twice! The eight-year-old walked, cycled and swam the mega distance to raise money for Julia’s House and to show his love for his brother Reuben.

Reuben was born with a very rare condition that causes brain deterioration and seizures. The respite care breaks and sibling support provided by Julia’s House has been a lifeline for the Wiltshire family.
