  • A fully supported challenge, led by First Aid-trained Mountain Leaders.
  • Make lasting friendships and celebrate your achievements together with a celebratory meal at a local pub

Day 2: Saturday 20th September 2025

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

After breakfast, we will transfer to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the starting point of the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks route.

  • Peak 1: Pen-y-ghent – Just three miles into the route, we reach our first summit. From here, you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the rolling Yorkshire Dales.
  • Peak 2: Whernside – The highest peak of the challenge, 11 miles further along. As you ascend Whernside, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking vistas, including Ribblehead Viaduct, a spectacular feat of Victorian engineering that perfectly complements the natural beauty.
  • Peak 3: Ingleborough – Standing atop our final summit, five miles from Whernside, offers a triumphant sense of achievement and incredible views stretching across the Dales and, on a clear day, even to Morecambe Bay.

After a few celebratory photos, we continue our descent, as the challenge isn’t quite over yet! We’ll complete the final five-mile trek back to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, where you can enjoy a glass of fizz and celebrate earning your place in the official 'Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club.'

We then transfer back to our accommodation for an overnight stay.

Trekking Distance: Approx. 24 miles

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

After a much-needed lie-in and breakfast, we will set out on the beautiful Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. It offers plenty of opportunities to soak in the Yorkshire countryside, unwind, and share stories from the day before.

Today provides a chance to get to know each other in a more relaxed environment compared to the previous day.

In the evening, we’ll celebrate together with a delicious three-course meal at a local pub.

Trekking Distance: Approx. 4.5 miles

Have the experience of a lifetime and give families like James' a lifeline...

“Julia’s House is a happy place. It’s a home. You don’t really think of it as a hospice. Sometimes you become aware that they are supporting another family with their child’s end-of-life at the hospice, and that really brings it home to you that one day that could be you. But it’s a place that helps you make the most of life, and helps you appreciate everything you have.”
