Event Description

The Temple Trail is one of the most scenic half marathons on the calendar. This 13.1 mile multi-terrain race is nestled in the spectacularly scenic Marlborough Downs which means come rain or shine, you’ll be treated to undulating terrain and sensational views!

Registration Opens at 8:30am | Race Starts 10:30am

You will need to collect your race number from Registration no later than 10am on race day – nothing will be posted out before the event

Prizes & Race Memento
Prizes will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Female finishers plus all Age Group winners.
Finishers will receive a race memento – either medal or Tech T-Shirt – TBC.

Route Info
The race starts and finishes at Marlborough Rugby Club. You’ll begin by heading out of Marlborough along Frees Avenue for approx. 0.7 miles before bearing left and getting off-road running alongside the Gallops at Barton Down. A sharp descent brings you into Rockley before entering the Temple Farm Estate where you’ll be treated to nearly 3 miles of fast tarmac and some stunning scenery before a tough off-road climb up towards Hackpen Hill and onto The Ridgeway where you will be treated to some breath taking views before heading back towards Marlborough and picking up the White Horse Trail towards Manton. There are several fields to negotiate before the final, gradual climb adjacent to Hyde Lane and back upto the Rugby Club and the finish.

Minimum Age
Under UKA rules, the minimum age of competitors on race day is 17 years old.
