Our Julia’s House retail shops are key to helping raise the funds needed to provide care and support to families with children who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across Dorset and Wiltshire.

We are seeking a person with sound retail experience, preferably in the charity sector, who is flexible and willing to travel to any of shops across Dorset (some of which open 7 days a week), to cover staff holidays and sickness (sometimes at short notice).  A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be a quick learner, who enjoys variety, is forward thinking and thrives on change.  You will also have excellent people management skills and ideally be experienced in managing regular shop volunteers.  Good communication skills are essential, with the ability to quickly grasp instructions and handover effectively.  You will also have good awareness of Health & Safety compliance.
