A bubbly five-year-old child, Ella has a rare and life-threatening genetic condition called Edwards’ syndrome. Sadly most babies with Edwards’ syndrome often don’t survive beyond their first birthday. The fact that Ella is approaching her sixth birthday is nothing short of extraordinary.
We’ve supported Ella and her family for around two years. She is such a bubbly little girl and gets so excited when she comes to the hospice - full of giggles and smiles.
