Pip Woods, Managing Director of Rockley Watersports is a long-standing supporter and fundraiser for Julia’s House. Pip was a member of Julia’s House HIIT Squad, a team comprised of local business leaders, former AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and Julia’s House Chief Executive Martin Edwards, who all took part in a gruelling 2-hour high intensity interval training workout in March to raise £60,000.
Pip commented: “Julia’s House is the most wonderful charity and really does provide an amazing and truly inspirational level of support for all the children and families it cares for. Having been involved with the charity for many years now, I am absolutely delighted, proud and honoured to become an Ambassador and to continue to support Julia’s House in all the fantastic work they are doing. Through time we have adopted Julia’s House as our Company Charity at Rockley Watersports and it really has very much become a way of life for all of the team and our students. Whenever there is an opportunity to help or get involved, we do. From head shaves to runs, siblings’ weekends to HIIT challenges and more recently with our team volunteering at the hospice during the lockdown to tidy the garden up, our team are so proud and happy to be help and support this brilliant charity.”
