Aged three, Ebony was diagnosed with Ataxia Telangiectasia (AT), a rare neurological condition that affects her movement and speech, and has left her vulnerable to respiratory infections. Ebony attended Julia's House for 10 years and although she was discharged into adult when she turned 18, she wanted to stay involved with Julia's House.

"Being an ambassador for Julia’s house is an absolute privilege - I am proud to be part of this sensational charity.  The care and support Julia’s House gave me and my family changed my life.  I gained confidence and happiness though the friends that I made and I wouldn’t be here without them. I feel part of a great team and always happy to share their contagious smiles and laughter.  Julia’s House will always have a special place in my heart."
