I am 28 years old and live in Wiltshire. When people ask me what I do for a living, I laugh as I have about 5 jobs! I teach music and the piano, run my own nail business, work in retail and write music. However, a role I'm most proud to say is that I am a young ambassador for Julia's House.

Julia's House first came into my life late in 2014, during the last few months of my brother Matthew's life. To this day they remain a pillar of strength for my family, inviting us to all sorts of wonderful things and continued support through visits.

I've not been an ambassador for long, but in my short time with Julia's House I have seen so much happiness, so many smiles, and so much love for life. I know first-hand how important Julia's House is - and I can't tell you how honoured I am to be a small part of the wonderful team who continue to give children and their families happy memories that'll be treasured for many years to come.

I really hope that from my experience, as a sister of someone under the care of Julia's House, I can help other siblings going through similar situations. I will continue to carry my brother's strength with me; who- like everyone at Julia's House knew that life was for living, creating and enjoying every moment we have.
