Children’s hospice declared winner in charity soccer match
JULIA’S House was the clear winner after teams from Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water (BWHW) and embroidery and screenprinters Merox staged a charity soccer match.
A total of £500 was raised from the event, held at the Dean Court home of AFC Bournemouth. BWHW won on penalties after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
BWHW’s Barrie Light said: “All the players and supporters had a great evening and our thanks go to Paul Crocker, of Merox, for organising the event. Bring it on for 2011!”
