Staff Vacancies

Tsea_09_win

Providing a caring, responsible and professional environment, we are a dynamic, fast-growing charity.

In order to provide the best possible care for life-limited and life-threatened children throughout Dorset, Julia's House aims to recruit and keep quality staff with the right skills and capabilities.

Julia's House places great importance on maintaining a healthy organisational culture and so the subject receives its own section in the charity's strategic plan and all staff are asked to sign a values document.

The last year has been a great for us for winning awards. We have been awarded the maximum Three Star Status in the Best Companies Accreditation 2010 for the second year running. Three stars is awarded to companies regarded as 'extraordinary'. We also retained our Top 20 ranking in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2010.

The listing sees Julia's House positioned as the highest ranking children's charity in the country and the top small company to work for in Dorset.

Martin Edwards, our Chief Executive, was also recognised as the Chief Executive of the Year at the Wessex Charity Awards 2009; a new initiative to honour the work undertaken by the charity sector in the Wessex region.

In Autumn 2009 we were also presented with the title of Best Employer at the Third Sector Excellence Awards, where the judges commented that Julia's House was "determined to go the extra mile for its employees....It has a real commitment to staff welfare, wellbeing and development."
