Complementary therapy

Volunteer therapists wanted

Julia’s House provides free Complementary Therapies for all of its families.

There is currently a vacancy for a volunteer massage therapist to join the team. The person would need to be fully qualified and insured with at least 3 years experience and will need to have a CRB check. Hours would be flexible to suit them. We have a team of dedicated highly qualified volunteers who provide treatments to the children, parents, siblings and carers. They work in the hospice, from home and in the families own homes. We also hold open evenings and fundraising events.

Some of the therapies currently available are:

• Aromatherapy
• Body massage
• Reflexology
• Indian head massage
• Reiki and healing
• Homeopathy
• Baby massage
